After experiencing first-hand the trend of pre-fabricated granite used heavily on the West Coast, The Granite Store has partnered with our affiliated provider with locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Central California, to bring these items to our hometown of Rochester, New York! The Granite Store is a direct importer of pre-fabricated granite directly from the exporter in China. We’re different from typical local granite outlets, in that we do not stock the large granite slabs and fabricate each installation specifically to the customer’s application. Rather, our factory in China fabricates the granite in standard color choices, and lengths and widths suitable for the majority of typical applications. While this method may not be appropriate in a high-end custom home, our product is very well suited for most standard kitchen and bath installations in the home, apartment, hotel, office etc., all at a fraction of the cost. A typical piece of pre-fabricated granite costs roughly the same if not less than that of laminate (Formica) or tile; while offering a superior look, finish and durability of those lesser quality products! We also offer the added benefit of having the majority of our granite in stock; making it possible to have your new counter tops installed the same day! Whether you are a homeowner, property manager, builder, or remodeler, it is now possible to have the high-end look of granite for the same, if not less than what you are currently paying for laminate or tile. Our granite counter tops are of the highest quality and standards. Each piece of stone is individually checked before coming to our warehouse in preparation for your home, apartment, hotel or office.
We stock standard 26” wide counter tops in 8’, 10’ and 12’ lengths, with either left or right side and front finished bullnose edges. We also carry peninsula slabs (three finished bullnose edges) in 36”, 42” and 52” widths. For those instances when you do not want to use tile for a backsplash, we also carry 8” wide granite backsplashes to compliment your selection.
